The recommended means of transport to Puente Genil are:
– Train
– Hire car
The train from Málaga takes approximately 40 minutes to Puente Genil station. The station is not within the town, meaning a taxi or pick-up will be necessary upon arrival. From the airport itself, there is a local train that goes to Maria Zambrano (Malaga train station)

Less than an hour away is the city of Cordoba, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, where it is worth discovering the Mosque-Cathedral, the Alcázar of the Christian Monarchs, the Roman Bridge and getting lost in the streets of the Jewish Quarter and the famous Calleja de las Flores.
If you fancy exploring further, you can also visit charming towns like Lucena, Priego de Córdoba or Zuheros, located very nearby and perfect for a half-day excursion.
In addition, with our wedding taking place on 15 May 2027, You'll be fortunate enough to coincide with one of the most special months of the year in Cordoba. During May, the city comes to life with some of its most emblematic festivals:
🌸 Cordoba Courtyards Festival (early to mid May), where the courtyards are open to the public, full of flowers and colour.
🌺 May Crosses (late April and early May), with decorated squares and a festive atmosphere.
🎡 Cordoba Fair (usually at the end of May), A week full of music, dance and stalls.
May is undoubtedly the perfect time to enjoy Cordoba in all its splendour 🌞.
